About Us

Rick Whalen has been a photographer for over 25 years, mostly shooting personal content material. It was just recently that he started his commercial interests. His favorite subject matter is nature photography and abstract material. Ansel Adams as a big inspiration, Rick traveled to Yosemite recently and shot over 1000 frames, some of which are here.

Linda Whalen comes from a long line of photographers. Her grandfather, father and herself grew up and worked at Kodak in Rochester, NY. Along with photography, Linda is also an artist in other mediums, such as pastels (her favorite), oils, clay, and plaster sculpture. She also teaches art to elementary students in Clifton Park, NY.

Very Good
7.6 out of 10
The good: Great photos; relatively quick; plenty of features; large LCD.
The bad: Awkward zoom control; slightly cramped buttons; no optical viewfinder.
The bottom line: The Canon PowerShot SD630 shoehorns a relatively broad set of features, solid performance, and great image quality into an attractive ultracompact package.
